Microsoft DOS 6.22 is a legacy operating system for pc. It is the last standalone DOS version from Microsoft. It's also the last from Microsoft to run on an 8088, 8086 or 286 CPU. MS-DOS 6.22 adds DriveSpace, a replacement for DOS 6.20's DoubleSpace drive compression that was removed in 6.21.

Copy of Microsoft MS-DOS 6.22 plus enhanced tools in English language on 4 brand new Fujifilm 3.5'' 1.44 MB diskettes.

It is offered for free. The price for this product solely covers the costs of materials, equipment and labor involved with creating it. The idea behind it is to help vintage computer enthusiasts (without the necessary equipment to create physical media) installing MS-DOS from physical media, that is no longer being offered, marketed nor supported by Microsoft nor by any retail stores for many years and therefore can be considered as abandonware.
